International exchange / study abroad Current students For graduates

On August 2025, 8, a reunion for Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology graduates living in Bangkok was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Many international students from Thailand have studied at our university. The number is on the rise, and we are now the second largest country/region in terms of the number of international students. We expect the alumni community of TUMSAT to continue expanding.
The reunion was attended by Executive Vice President Maita (International Affairs, Research, and Academic Information), Assistant to the President Hirono Ikuo (Research Enhancement), three administrative staff members, and 3 alumni living in Bangkok (19 Thai, 17 Singaporean, and 1 Japanese).
Following the opening address from Director Maita, the event opened with a speech from a representative of the graduates, and each participant gave an update on their current situation. The participants ranged from graduates affiliated with Thailand's top universities and government research institutes to graduates working for companies, and it was a great opportunity for the participants to once again deepen their bonds as alumni of the University of Maritime Science and Technology and to build new relationships.
We plan to continue expanding our international network to promote exchanges between our graduates living overseas.
