In the Department of Marine Bioresources, we will deepen our understanding of the physiology and ecology of aquatic organisms, elucidate the special mechanism by which these organisms can live in the aquatic area, and utilize their characteristics to proliferate, manage and restore and conserve biological resources, and measure and benefit the environment. We are conducting education and research on the science and technology related to comprehensive advanced utilization related to biological production, such as the creation of the environment. In this context, this open call seeks to recruit young talent who can carry out world-class research that aims to create a new blue economy, while simultaneously achieving sustainable and effective use of marine and fishery resources and adding high value to marine and seafood products by improving their quality. Specifically, the position will be responsible for education and research on modeling the dynamics of fishery resources under climate change, developing resource management methods that are robust to climate change, and the data science methods that support these. Upon hiring, you will be responsible for or sharing some of the following undergraduate and graduate school courses.
