The Food Production Science Division covers everything from food raw materials to manufacturing, processing, distribution, and consumption, and studies food resources using chemistry, microbiology, physics, and engineering in order to sustainably supply safe and reliable foods. We develop technologies that are fully utilized using innovative methods, and conduct education and research on ensuring and improving food safety and developing and evaluating foods with new functions. In this context, this open call for applicants is aimed at creating a new blue economy, and we are looking for young talent who can carry out world-class research that will achieve both high added value through quality improvement of marine products and seafood and sustainable and effective use of marine and aquatic resources.
